Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in film and TV is best known for films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her career in showbiz at a young age. She was a lead actress in television dramas as early as 16 years old. Her fame was due to her performance as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring the divas. Alexandra has been associated with numerous important projects both locally as well as internationally. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical miniseries Napoleon among others.
