Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights advocate and philanthropist who is charitable. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her long career has earned her international acclaim for her achievements in international law and the field of human rights. Her clients include several notable nation-states including Armenia as well as its fight to get the Turkish government recognize Armenia's right to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got married to American actor George Clooney and became a well-known name in pop media in the year 2014. Before this, she had already been well known in the legal world for her ability to represent clients. The range of her work spans from dealing with human rights and social justice issues to representing several multinational companies in negotiation and court cases concerning government regulations. From 2015 onwards, Doughty Street Chambers is located in London. She is an attorney.
